World IP Forum

26 April – 5 May, 2021 - Roberto Dini, Founder of Sisvel, will moderate the panel on “SEP licensing in the 5G and IoT era” which will be streamed during the next World IP Forum, scheduled from 26 April to 5 May, 2021. Distinguished speakers like Eeva Hakoranta, Executive Vice President, Chief Licensing Officer at InterDigital, Gustav Brismark, Former Chief IP Officer at Ericsson & CEO of Kazehara, Matthias Schneider, Chief Licensing Officer at Audi, Daniel Hermele, Founder of DSH Consulting, Christian Dubuc, Founder and President of Harfang IP, and Keith Mallinson, Founder of WiseHarbor will join the discussion. They will highlight how the standardization process and a comprehensive licensing framework are fundamental to improve the licensing ecosystem in the 5G and IoT era.

Mr. Dini will join also a second panel on “Anti-suit injunctions” attended by Sir. Robin Jacob, Sir Hugh Laddie Chair of Intellectual Property Law, UCL, Prof. Mario Franzosi, Founding Partner of Franzosi, Dal Negro, Setti Law Firm, and Mr. Jing He, Founder of GEN Law Firm. The panel will discuss how disruptive actions like anti-suit injunctions (ASIs) certainly disturb the innovation ecosystem and how ADR could represent a promising alternative to court disputes in resolving the problem of determining a global FRAND royalty.
